Stink Scanner
Privacy Policy
Effective September 4, 2026. This policy explains how Stink Scanner handles information.
Overview
Stink Scanner is a fictional offline camera party game published by Aleksandr Podgaec. Its prepared results and playful scores are not based on image analysis, do not identify people, and do not assess real odors, hygiene, health, appearance, or personal characteristics.
Data collection
Stink Scanner does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics SDKs, user tracking, or custom backend.
Camera, photos, and videos
The camera is used only to create the game image. Images are processed on the device and are not uploaded. A photo or video is saved or shared only after the user explicitly chooses the corresponding action. Friends Mode should be used with the photographed person's permission.
Local storage
The app stores scan limits, result positions, preferences, and purchase entitlement state locally on the device. This information is not transmitted to the developer.
Purchases
Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's privacy practices. Aleksandr Podgaec does not receive payment card details.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Data retention and deletion
Because the developer does not receive user data, there is no server-side personal data to retain or delete. Local app data can be removed by deleting the app from the device.
Policy updates
If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the relevant app version is released.
